Take part in the fight against threats to the territory: pay for the voucher, or join in person a scheduled day of cleanup and invasive species removal.
Recover native plant cover where the territory needs it.

Contributes to planting species within the territory. It is separate from the tree and frailejón adoption vouchers and from the COP 125,000 vouchers, so don’t mix it up with either of them.

Adopt a high-Andean forest tree as an act of conservation. It represents one unit of adoption, not an area you can freely select.

Adopt a frailejón in the territory as an act of conservation. Available only in páramo polygons; it represents one unit of adoption.

Direct contributions to protecting watersheds, wildlife and habitat in the territory, or a way to balance your footprint.

Sponsor as many square meters of páramo as you like within the territory. The more m² you sponsor, the greater your contribution to conserving this unique ecosystem. It is the base reference product for the carbon footprint calculator.
Examples: 1 m² = COP 1,500 · 10 m² = COP 15,000 · 100 m² = COP 150,000
Adopt páramo by m²Contributes to protecting a water unit in the territory: a river, lake, waterfall or other water unit. Each unit is equivalent to 365 L/year under Santuario Chiquito’s reference model.

Focused on protecting the territory’s wildlife: eagles, tigrillos (oncillas), birds and other species. Each unit is equivalent to 100 m² of protection.

The voucher with the broadest comprehensive coverage: it protects biodiversity, habitat, soil, water, carbon, flora, fauna and ecosystem functions over 100 m². It is the Tier 1 (master/umbrella) voucher. The area it covers is registered as Comprehensive Protection and is not sold again over that same surface as a Tier 2 thematic voucher (water, wildlife, frailejón or tree).
Calculate your annual water footprint and find out how many units of Watershed Protection it is equivalent to, under Santuario Chiquito’s reference model (1 unit = 365 L/year).

Calculate your annual carbon footprint and find out how many m² of Páramo Protection it is equivalent to, using the reference factors of this model (it is not a certified carbon offset).
Conservation Vouchers are a way of contributing to the territory’s productive conservation model. They are not a purchase of property or an environmental certification, except where stated otherwise with the corresponding technical and legal support. See the notice on Conservation Vouchers and how the full model works.
