Two trail running races near Bogotá cover the territory’s trails and dirt roads, each with a different conservation purpose. Entry fee: COP 135,000 per person.

The reserve’s own race: held exclusively on the trails and dirt roads of Santuario Chiquito’s conservation reserve network.

The conservation race with the widest reach: its course passes through the future sites that will join the páramo’s reserve network.

An individual cycling time trial: each rider starts at an assigned time and is timed between the Neusa Reservoir and the finish at the summit, Cerro Santuario.
Trail running, hiking, eco hikes and the cycling hill-climb time trial share the same territory and the same purpose at Santuario Chiquito: every training session and every race is an active conservation tool. The resources each event generates sustain the care of the páramo and become direct income for the local community that lives in and protects this territory, near Bogotá.
