Home / Conservation Shop / Wildlife Voucher
What it is
A voucher focused on protecting the territory’s umbrella species, which move freely across the whole Corredor de Guerrero (Pacho-Tausa-Cogua-Zipaquirá) and are not limited to a single polygon.
What it protects / supports
Support the protection of species such as the Andean fox or páramo wolf (Lycalopex culpaeus andinus), the borugo or tinajo (Cuniculus taczanowskii), the oncilla or tigrillo lanudo (Leopardus tigrinus), the jaguarundi (Herpailurus yagouaroundi), the black-chested buzzard-eagle or águila de páramo (Geranoaetus melanoleucus) and the bearded helmetcrest or barbudito de páramo (Oxypogon guerinii), as well as the monitoring of amphibians such as the Sabana tree frog or rana sabanera (Dendropsophus labialis).
How it works
You buy the voucher at a fixed value. The contribution goes to wildlife protection work within the territory.
Wildlife this voucher protects
These animals live in and move across the whole territory. That is why this voucher is not tied to a single zone on the map, unlike other vouchers that have a fixed georeferenced plot.
