How a voucher works

A Conservation Voucher is a way to contribute to a specific conservation action within the territory.

Choose a voucher

Each voucher is tied to a specific conservation action: water, gorse, wildlife, planting, adoption, tribute or sponsorship of páramo.

See what it protects

Each voucher’s page explains what it protects or supports, how it works and what it costs.

Buy it and get a confirmation

The contribution goes to the related conservation work, and you receive a confirmation of your contribution.

What a Conservation Voucher is not

  • It is not, in general, a purchase of property in the territory.
  • It is not a certified offset, unless specific technical and legal support says otherwise.
  • It is not an official environmental certificate.
The carbon footprint and water footprint vouchers include a modular calculator, ready to take on the final calculation methodology once it is available.
